I saw this today and I had to share! A truly moving speech by Charlie Chaplin in the movie “Dictator”. Although the topic is based on dictatorship I find there is much to learn from it: humanity, dignity, justice and love. So many lessons to learn from a speech made by a man who’s successful career revolved around silent comedy!
I write poetry, rants and share other multimedia I may randomly find interesting. I believe life’s a slow and epic story. Told in the many emotions we feel on any given day. The climaxes in this story don’t always come within the 150 pages we’d like to see them in. Years and decades create the changes that unfold so many unwritten stories. Every story, every life is a master piece. Often tragic, and often beautiful even in its very simplicity. Intuitive connections with our emotional selves is an awareness that helps us listen, listen to these stories. Where there is laughter, anger, frustration and joy.
