While I do adore optimists and always seek to be as optimistic as possible, I have to agree that sometimes it can be a bit much. Does forced optimism really imply success? Have we just created a socialistic view of optimism?

I write poetry, rants and share other multimedia I may randomly find interesting. I believe life’s a slow and epic story. Told in the many emotions we feel on any given day. The climaxes in this story don’t always come within the 150 pages we’d like to see them in. Years and decades create the changes that unfold so many unwritten stories. Every story, every life is a master piece. Often tragic, and often beautiful even in its very simplicity. Intuitive connections with our emotional selves is an awareness that helps us listen, listen to these stories. Where there is laughter, anger, frustration and joy.
