Bright blue oceans, the green of lush forests, heat of dry desserts, chill of cold winters, bright autumn colours, all these range of emotions the earth chooses to show us. Why fear our own so much when even mother earth deserves the right to volcanic eruptions? Isn’t the lava that replenishes the earth initially what destroys all in its path? Aren’t we as human being just the same in our range of emotions. Aren’t those amongst us that feel every emotion passionately more likely to feel love with its full ferocity? I no longer feel my unhappiness is ever a curse or a thought we should never feel. If I never felt unhappy how could I ever fully rejoice in being happy today? Just as the green grows in the most uncertain places it is up to us to bring the cheer when life lacks it the most.

Much the same enjoying the stillness of the water could not be appreciated in the same manner if one had never seen its restlessness. The power of the waves crashing into the shore is just as serene as the cool calm water. Anger is the necessity to calm. How can we possible appreciate all of existence without looking at the bigger picture, the entire picture? Aren’t we all in the end just floating in an unpredictable world with realities that are just as chaotic. Should we or should we not just embrace the chaos around us? Removing all hazardous elements from our environment is a hopeless quest after all. Peace and serenity what are they save accepting the chaos and still managing to remain at peace.

“If you could get rid of yourself just once, the secret of secrets would open to you. The face of the unknown, hidden beyond the universe would appear on the mirror of your perception.” ~ Rumi
